Gayla Designs™️ is a small business located in Anchorage, AK.

Gayla is an encaustic and mixed media artist creating and instructing in the Spenard Art Studio.

The Art of Purpose™️ is Gayla Designs™️ line of artwear.

Our products are made on-demand, just for you! Please account for fulfillment AND shipping time.

We want to make sure you’re satisfied with your Gayla Designs™️ experience. If you have any issues with your order at all, we are here to help. Please e-mail us, and we will be sure to help sort out any trouble!


When will I get my order?
Usually, it takes 3–7 days to fulfill an order, after which it’s shipped out. The shipping time depends on your location, estimates are listed below.

Estimated shipping times:

  •  USA: 3–4 business days
  •  Europe: 6–8 business days
  •  Australia: 2–14 business days
  •  Japan: 4–8 business days
  •  International: 10–20 business days

Will I be charged customs for my order?

An additional customs and tax fee can occur on international orders. This fee is not in our control and is assessed by your local customs office. Customs policies vary widely for every country so please check with your local customs office directly to see if they apply duties and taxes to your purchases.

My order should be here by now, but I still don’t have it. What should I do?
Before getting in touch with us, please help us out by doing the following:

  • Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address
  • Ask your local post office if they have your package
  • Stop by your neighbors in case the courier left the package with them

If the shipping address was correct, and the package wasn’t left at the post office or at your neighbor’s, get in touch with us at with your order number.

If you did find a mistake in your delivery address, you may be eligible for a replacement order. Please contact us if this is the case.

Package is marked as delivered, but I still haven’t received it. What should I do?

We’re sad to hear that you haven’t received your order yet. Contact us and we will check the status of your order on our end. We also recommend that you check for additional details from the delivery staff. Please note that we do not offer refunds due to carrier errors or theft.


How do I track my order?
You’ll receive a tracking link via email when your order ships out. If you have any questions about your tracking or shipment, send us an email at

Orders lost in transit
If you believe your order may have been lost in transit, please follow the steps above and then send us an email at If your order cannot be located, you may be eligible for a replacement.

I received a wrong/damaged product, what should I do?
We apologize if the product you ordered arrived damaged or not as expected. To help us resolve this for you quickly, please email us at within a weeks’ time with photos of the wrong/damaged product, your order number, and any other details you may have about your order. We’ll get back to you with a resolution as soon as possible!

If your order was damaged during fulfillment or shipping, you will receive a replacement at no cost to you.


What’s your return policy?
If you are not satisfied with your item, submit a RETURN REQUEST FORM within 7 days of receiving your item to see if you are eligible for a return or exchange.

We do not offer cash-back refunds at this time, however you may be eligible for in-store credit.

Everything is made on demand, just for you! Requesting a design or size exchange would mean producing an entirely new product.

Damaged Products
If your item was damaged during production or shipping, please refer to the section above, under Orders: “I received a wrong/damaged product, what should I do?”
